so they obviously grade this set, maybe give them a call? Maybe they will offer a free regrade on it?

Unless they meant it was too thick per the standards of that set? Like this card is supposed to be "xxxMM thick" but your card is "yyyMM thick." Same way some people have reported pack pulled cards being returned ungraded for wavy edges. Factory mistake making you waste money on a sub.

I hadn't thought of it that way, waiting on a response from BGS.

Thanks for the info. It was suggested that it might be the incidivual card thickness was greater than the set should be, but the report is not filled out that way, just service unavailable.
Anyway I shall await there response.

Update from BGS;

"Yes, cards like this Strata card with the thick card stock are unable to be placed in our slabs, so we cannot grade them in the hard cases."

"We are looking into getting another mold made for these thicker cards as we are having issues with more cards coming out with the same thickness."

So, any thoughts of grading the shadow box auto Strata's should be put on hold for now.
