My first BGS order in over 15 years, not here yet...ugh!
So my LCS had beckett show up a couple weeks ago and they were doing a raw grade and slabbing specials. I had roughly 15 cards I was considering getting raw graded first and then send in for slabbing. The guy(s) doing the raw grading were running out of time, so I picked 11 of the cards and sent them in for slabbing and skipped the raw grade. One of the LCS owners suggested to raw grade first, a lot of times (he thinks) that the raw grades come out better, then if you submit for a slab, they will slab what ever the raw grade was at that time.
Now I'm just super anxious to get my cards back. They are now listed on the BGS site as submitted, but not graded yet.
Quick question, will they ruin the surprise and list the cards in there with what grade they got before I receive them in the mail?

Yes but you can choose not to look. When the status changes to Label Created or Shipped there will be a link to see card details. If you can avoid the temptation, I've never been able to...lol
