Full Ticket From Historic Night in Mets History

Full Ticket From Historic Night in Mets History
I picked this up last night off of eBay:
Full/unused ticket from the game where the Mets clinched the 1969 National League pennant by beating the St. Louis Cardinals 6-0. This game was attended by 54,928 fans at Shea Stadium and, at the time, was the biggest crowd ever to see a Mets game there.
I've been on eBay since 1999 and have never seen a full ticket from this game before so I couldn't hit the Buy-It-Now quick enough!

I collect 1969 Mets memorabilia and 1960 Topps baseball, nothing else.

That is freaking awesome. Does it have a COA?

No COA, but I also have a stub from this game and everything matches up. It'll be nestled snugly in a PSA holder very soon.

LOL
... And those weren't 'the cheap seats' either. Smile
I remember going there in a bus with my whole little league team on Bat Day. 50¢ bleechers and a free bat. I got a 'Jerry Buchek' bat, one friend got a 'Bud Harrelson' bat and another got a 'Ron Swaboda' bat. I was pissed! Smile

Awesome getting a ticket! Definitely a hard to find piece of Mets History! Congrats!

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
