Topps football licensing
Went to local shop this morning and the manager said he had heard this was the last year for Topps and football, Said Panini got an exclusive contract. Now I just returned from the national in Chicago and didn't hear any of this. Is this true ,old news , or rumor?

Does this start 2016? I think I have 59 or 60 years of topps sets. That really sucks.

You can thank the NFLPI for deciding to go with an exclusive deal. Whether consumers are Topps fans or not, removing competition from the market rarely benefits consumers. Keith Gordon appears to be the driving force or the voice behind it from the NFL side. It's a shame since a few short years ago it appeared Topps was primed to continue in the football arena.
