Final card for 1961 set

Final card for 1961 set
I just got the last card that I needed to finish the 1961 set. It took me over 3 years. Also, I am almost done with the 1960 set with only 4 to go.

Working on the new vintage project which is the 1958 set and closing on the 1967 set. That one will take time, since most are the high #s.

Congratulations on finishing your 1961 set. The '61 is my top favorite, along with the 1960, 1956, 1957 and 1958 sets. Sounds like you're really close on your 1960 set. Personally, I really like the horizontal sets from 1956 and 1960. You're going to have a very impressive collection when you're finished. Are they going to be graded sets, or ungraded? I'm working on a graded 1961 set. What condition range are you trying to get the cards in?

Thanks. They sets are ungraded. I usually pick these cards in EX condition or better. I do agree with you. The horizontal sets are great looking cards. I do many of the stars from 1956. Need to get the commons. That project will be later on. Most likely to start next year. Unless I pick a lot of common cards at a good price.

Thanks, I know the 1960 is in reach in the next couple of months. The other ones are most likely to be finish by next year, unless a miracle happens.

Congratulations! '61 and '57 are little side projects of mine. I have more of the '61 but my all time favorite set is the '57.

Thanks, I finished the 57' a couple of years ago. A great set and also is the first one with the actual card size.

I agree with this. I love both the '61 and '57, probably my 2 favorite sets with '62 a close third.

I finished the 1958 set about 2 years ago and am working a trade for about 100 different 1957s, which would put me a quarter of the way there.

Also, I have more than 100 of the 1961s so far, but the high #s are going to eat my lunch. That's the only thing that has kept me from going further on it.

BTW, Francisco, PM me what you need from 1960. I have about 30-40 of them, so might have what you need and might can work out a deal.
