most times it's not worth busting as much as a case. take last year for instance...busted a case of UD series 2 and got a Gretzky auto #/15 Heroes. best card of the set? probably. sold it for about $400. case cost? much more than that...plus I could barely sell the rest of the singles. but hey, it was kinda fun to bust. if you're going in thinking that you'll come away even, with sales and trades, you're going to have to be lucky and pull your favorite card or the biggest card in the first few boxes.

Like some people have said here, I like busting boxes to complete a set. It's a bit like a jigsaw puzzle where you have to find the missing bits and put it all together. Usually lower end stuff like O-Pee-Chee, any big hits are a just a bonus.
