OT: What do you fellow collectors do for work
Over the last 15 years I've been a member of Beckett (admittedly not active for all 15), I've seen post a pic of yourself, your car, etc..
I've been an Electrician in upstate NY for 11 year's, my title now is a "Service Technician", but do everything from residential to commercial, with 95% being commercial.
This was fun to fix. 480v in a parking lot for Wal-Mart in Fishkill,NY

Very cool
My dad is an electrician, so while I don't do electrician work for a living, I do know how to do stuff like wiring in a house or in a car.
I'm a database engineer myself. The company I work for has a customer loyalty program and I developed the database and the customer admin tool for our managers. Used to write the website as well, but we have a web development company for that since I have so many things I work on now. Back in 2002 when I started there, we had 2,000 loyalty program members, and now we have over 800,000!

The first part of my career in IT I wore pretty much every hat at small/medium businesses: desktop support, end user services, server administration, Exchange, firewalls, networking, ASP.Net programming, etc etc. Last couple years I joined one of the largest printing companies in the world and I specialize in VoIP telephone systems (Lync, Cisco, Nortel/Avaya), video conferencing (Cisco TelePresence), call centers, etc.

Do you acutely feel the nightly pain of hours long maintenances to the org and trading features around here
