Condition of patch when grading?

Condition of patch when grading?
I was curious to know if anyone has knowledge or experience regarding grading and an imperfect patch? Was going to get this card graded, however, I am concerned about the thread sticking out/loose in the red upper corner.

Thanks for all feedback/input.

A) that card is awesome. b) it will have no affect if it was a factory or pre- factory issue (wear and tear from use).

Don't think they bother with the patch/jersey/ball etc when grading. Just the card itself and the auto if applicable.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sweet card by the way!

Well, I was thinking that it might affect the Surface subgrade, IF you're subbing it to Beckett.
