Justin, I went through the same thing this summer ... already in a bind financially and then got laid off.

And now I am working for a company in which I have better hours, better cash, upward mobility and a much better future.

I had the interview at Michael Symons today. I'm actually overqualified for the job, the head chef said so, but he said there was a ton of room for advancement of I don't mind giving up management (which is fine with me!). I'll probably have to work a second job, but that's OK.
