Last Sunday evening, I had my fantasy league NBA draft up at my LCS and of course, I had to buy some cards. He had 1 sealed box and six loose packs of '14 American Thunder and nothing else as far as racing. So, I bought the 6 loose packs first hoping there was a hit left...there was, a solid color Kyle Busch Class A Uni/99. OK, right on, I got a hit. I didn't have enough to buy the whole sealed box, so he opened it up and packed it out to me. I bought 4 more packs and pulled 2 nice hits. First was a B&W Austin Dillon/50 parallel...that was cool, got a PC parallel. And second was a solid color JJ Battle Armour/99...the nice thing was, since I was out of money, there was a JJ fan there at the draft watching me rip and he asked how much I'd sell it for. So I got enough to buy a few more packs and pulled nothing but base and a couple inserts.

Knowing there were still two hits left and I'd already bought 1/3 of the box, I asked Bob (the owner) if he'd hold onto the rest for me for a couple days until I could get some more money. He agreed and I went back up there yesterday to buy the rest. First hit I pulled was ANOTHER solid color Stenhouse Jr Class A Uni/99...THREE solid color /99 RU cards...BUMMER! Well, I knew there auto was still left and I prayed it would save the box for me. Finally pulled it and turned it around. Now, 3 months ago, I would have been stoked with the pull as I was collecting him. But I'm trying to downsize my collection and I've since been trading and selling him off...it was a AT White Auto 12/15 Clint Bowyer. BUMMER! lol! Let's just hope the NBA fantasy team I drafted was better than all that so I can win back the money I spent on the draft fee AND all the '14 American Thunder! Anyhow, everything except the JJ and the Dillon B&W is for trade/sale.

Personally, I'd have been okay with that break but ONLY for the JJ and KyB cards! I'd have been looking for buyers and traders for the rest of the 'hits' and non-PC cards.
I don't have many cards from that release at all b/c I didn't like of all the 'hit or miss' box breaks I saw. I refused to buy one.

I would have been good with the Johnson hit. Looks like it was not all that bad of box/pack break.
