Is it a Rookie or not?
So I was able to acquire a 2012 Finest Mike Trout Mystery Rookie auto /100 but since 2011 was considered his rookie year why does this card say rookie on its title?

Guess Topps decided to make one for Trout after they put the rookie mystery redemption cards out. The other 4 in the set still have the RC logo on them-- his does not so it is not a rookie card.

Technically, Mike Trout still had rookie status in 2012. He didn't play enough games in the Major Leagues in 2011 to not be considered a rookie in 2012. He didn't hit the minimum until May/June 2012.
