Was going through some old cards (80's and 90's) and found some great cards, majority in penny sleeve and top loader, a few have a film on them and was curious of or if to even attempt to clean them, like what products to use if one better than the other... appears only glossy cards have the film ... and it taste horrible.. jk but any help would be appreciated... used baby wipe and alcohol on a few, film still there

Do you mean the films that say to peel off (a purposeful protective film like on some Finest Cards) or glossy cards like Topps Tiffany or Fleer Glossy?

Thanks for the response
I'd suggest just trying some kind of lens cleaning cloth before involving exotic chemical solutions.
A vendor once recommended me using a silk pantyhose...especially with the the shiny ones and even with finest and refractors ...it really works awesome and its a scratch free way of doing it.
Silly Putty!
