I opened a box of 1994 Leaf yesterday and pulled a hot pack that had the entire Stat Standout set and a Gold Leaf Stars Greg Maddux. Love that they did this in this era and the inserts are really nice looking cards!

Recently pulled a hot pack from 1995 Ultra and half the inserts were the Gold Medallion parallels which are pretty tough pulls. Didn't get anything of real value but cool pull nonetheless.

Was wondering if they still do hot packs with current products? It's a great pull when you find them!

A few years ago there were "hot" boxes with purple refractors in every pack.
I remember the hot packs back then, Frank Thomas was hot and I pulled every insert of his from Leaf...thought that was nice at the time..

That's what I'm talking about!! There are actually some pretty rare, and IMO, more desirable inserts from that era than anything produced in the past 4-5 years.

I only ever pulled one hot pack and it was from Fleer Ultra. I don't remember what year, though. I loved the hot pack idea.

A customer in my dad's shop pulled a 1994 Flair pack that had the entire Hot Glove set. He was pretty stoked at the time!
