i was just shopping through some griffey upper deck bgs 9.5's and psa 10's on ebay and was wondering why psa 10 sold for about 65% more, about $100 more than BGS 9.5 and i noticed this psa 10... how is that a psa 10 with that centering and 2 chunks of the hologram missing...?

How is an '89 UD vintage? Vintage is Pre-1981.

Why not? They take the smudge on the Paul Molitor rookie into consideration even though 95% of all them have it.

I often find taht PSA has a tendency to overate cards. Seems to me that this PSA 10 is a well-centered card. The UD 1989 Griffey has centering program. I got 3 Griffeys from pack, all with centering problems.

When I'm looking at PSA 10 Nolan Ryans to cross over to BGS/BVG, I always have to look at the scan on eBay really carefully, b/c I see a lot that I would say were PSA 10 O/C.

I still don't understand these threads. A grade is an opinion. A human's opinion. Is anyone really shocked that there are cards that come up from time to time that are over or under graded? Human's are not infallible. Why do you think people send things in to be re-graded? Mistakes happen. Besides, it's a closed auction, what purpose does it serve to "get more opinions"? Look at the listing closer and look how badly the picture is distorted. It makes the sides of the case look like they bow out. There are reasons Ebay items are at a discount- and a big reason is the inability to see it in person and judge quality for yourself.
