Any time I buy I a Colbert im overpaying lol. But I do for my sets all the time too. I don't even check sales. Its all about the one that up in auction at that time. If something is /25 or less and its and older product...you may never see it again

A better question would be: Have I ever paid the actual sales value for a card I want? ;-)

Any rare Montana or a 1/1 NFL logo of a coveted player will usually result in the overspend...
