One of the guys at my local card shop has a line on a bunch of mid-90 product and, if he doesn't have it, he can usually find it. It's not cheap though.

I'm a fan of 1998 Bowman's Best or 1997 Finest. Hard to beat Gold Embossed Refractors for looks/sell value.

I think 1997 Ultra or 1999 Finest although I am not crazy about the base cards, I think the inserts are very nice. Also as pacrimcollectibles mentioned, anything from Pacific is awesome. Many Pacific samples are shown in this thread:

I too am starting to get more into older cards from the 1990's when I was a kid.

Good luck! I've found that locating really high end stuff for my collection is easier than tracking down some of these inserts lol. It's funny that I can find a $500 card at the drop of the hat but it'll take me months to find a $5 card.
