I was thinking of doing them by team but then I got to thinking how often prospects get traded and it might be confusing trying to figure out what organization they started out with which is what team their first cards would likely be with.

I'm guessing the only full proof way is to alphabetize by last names.



Also on average how long do you keep a prospects cards before moving on ? Seems some guys fly through the minors and others it takes them 3-4 years or more.

Is there a general time frame in which most collector's say if he's not up by such and such time he's probably not going to pan out ? Or does it differ depending on the player ?


Or is it even worth dealing with non auto Base Rc's or should I just focus on Auto's only ? Seems like base rc's don't even sell at $.99 each anymore outside of the top 3-4 guys each year.

I put them in order by number in the set, same way I organize all my cards.
