Silly question about mailing to Canada

Silly question about mailing to Canada
I know this is likely a dumb question, but I don't know the answer.
If I PWE to Canada (which I did today), do i just drop it in the mailbox? Is there any special requirements? I did 3 stamps.

Yeah you need a customs form...I just sent a trade to Canada and it cost me almost $9....thats too bad now with the price hike. Canadian members are going to lose out on a lot of trades now.

RE: Silly question about mailing to Canada
Even PWE needs declaration? I know it is the other way but if I send envelope or a bubble mailer that is skinny enough to the States it goes regular mail no need for a declaration. As soon as it hits a certain width then I have to attach a customs tag. If you send me a letter in an envelope you wouldn't need to declare customs. Why would you one or two pieces of cardboard. Joba, somewhere in a past thread shezdoni posted a bunch of links that explained how to send cheap to Canada.

I don't think for a PWE. They may have misread. Correct me if I am wrong.

For the shipping cost to Canada anymore it's almost cheaper for me to drive across the border and drop it off at a canadian post office.

No you shouldn't for PWE what you did should be fine. I don't think my typing quite got across what i was trying to say either. If it is I a PWE it might as well be a personal letter. You would not have to declare customs on a personal letter so why a 2011 Topps baseball card? I believe, if I remember correctly any PWE trades I have got from the states had 2 stamps on them so I guess your 3 should cover nicely.

According to the Postal Service web site postage to Canada is:

Letter ,
1 or 2 ounces, $1.10
3 ounces, $1.55

Letter containing a rigid object,
1 or 2 ounces, $1.30
3 Ounces, $1.75

Hope this helps,

Ray
