I missed my one opportunity to the Derrick Thomas card when I seen it on the Bay a year or so ago.

I wonder if it would be worth it to spend the 5k and then break it up and sell all the cards individually? How much of a profit would one make?

It could be boom or bust. I have been trying to do the same thing, albeit with much smaller lots, and have found mixed results. Seeing the condition of the cards is a must because there is no guarantee they are all NM/MT or better. Ask lots of questions and be sure to see pictures too! Good luck!
