I just opened a Topps Update HTA jumbo box. This box has a guaranteed one auto and 2 relics. I pulled a Cal Ripken Jr. golden ring collection. I only got one other relic so I was wondering if this counts as a relic.

I believe so. We pulled a Mike Schmidt HOF Plaque card and a Chris Perez All Star relic from this year's Update Jumbo.
Collecting Robin Yount, Brewers Topps parallels, Brewers autos and Jonathan Lucroy in a Brewers uni.
Lucroy Brewers Collection : 589/596 non 1/1's (98.8%) and 65 1/1's 
yep. it counts as a relic.

Yeah, manufactured relics count toward your box's relic count according to Topps.
