I'm wondering whether this is a sentiment shared by the Rangers fans. I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether his "act" has grown old and would also like to hear your take on his slump, removing himself from the line-up last week, etc. -I'm not taking sides here (in fact, I consider myself a Hamilton fan. I don't follow the Dallas papers, or hear the local talk radio to know what people are saying).

I don't pay any attention to J.J.T. or espn. I don't read newspapers or listen to the radio. But I don't think that Hambone's act has grown old. I did see his press conference after he had a relapse. He seemed genuinely remorseful. He must have had a good reason for taking himself out of the game. He probably thought that at that point that he was a liability to the team.

He is part of the Christian movement: I am Second.

RE: Josh Hamilton
i think the Red Sox can go after him. They are in desperate need of a bounce back year and they have $$$ to spend after their trades this year

Since it doesn't look like the Yankees are keeping Swisher, he might come to New York.

Actually they have to decide on ichiro as well. So it could be ichiro and swisher leaving

Very true. I want them to keep both even though I know they won't.

Good point. I think they will let at least one go and try to bring in Hamilton.

RE: Josh Hamilton
I think he is leaving, but I don't see him fitting in Detroit. Jackson, Dirks, Garcia, Castellanos, Boesch, Young and Berry all will be fighting for the outfield job. Plus V-Mart back to dh. Just no room. Yanks make more sense.
