WHA hockey cards

WHA hockey cards
Working on a story for an upcoming Beckett Hockey magazine.

I was wondering if there was anyone who collected WHA cards at any point (during the 70s or 80s or even now)?

Thanks.

I collected them in my younger days. I still have a few Andre Lacroix cards and a poster I believe.
Collecting all the Ron Hextall Cards especially those
pesky 1 of 1 cards and other low print runs.
I am also collecting Bernie Parent, Pelle Lindbergh,
Antero Niittymaki & other Flyers goalies.

I never collected WHA cards in the day (I'm just a little too spring chicken for that), but I pulled these from "guarranteed auto" packs from Fairfield a few years back, and think they're pretty cool! These are from 2004 Pacific :

Butt of course...even ITG came out with a subset not too long ago with players that did not have cards in the 70's & 80's
I collect goaltenders and the WHA goalies had weaked masks back then

RE: WHA hockey cards
i have back in the day and still have some packed away some where, it was fun to collect them because a person was able to relate with a player that they knew was born/lived around there home town and maybe even was friends with them.

Ex: Jarret Stoll is from my home town, its just nice knowing that a kid from a small town could make it so far.(And yes I know he didn't have a WHL card but its just and EX.)
