very happy to have it - not an easy one to find. Card arrived today, quite safely. Notice the seller charged me $16 for registered shipping - which I didn't mind paying, considering the cost of the card. I e-mailed the seller twice to ask for the tracking number that wasn't provided. The first e-mail went unanswered. After the second e-mail the seller told me that he hadn't heard back from his shipper about my tracking number.... obviously because THERE WASN'T ANY TRACKING NUMBER... since the envelope showed up today regular mail from Canada at a cost of $2.10...

we'll see how this gets sorted out...

First off... THAT IS INSANE, Phil! You have paid more for that one card than I have for any five combined! Haha! Very uncool about the shipping charge! This sort of thing seems to be happening a lot more nowadays. One thing that I do not like about this seller is that they reply to all negatives left for them with huge slander! Calling buyers idiots, liars and the like. Very unprofessional if you ask me. I hope that you can get it sorted out. Best wishes!

Wow, like you said Phil, you don't mind paying for the extra shipping if that is what you get. I am not sure how e-bay would have ruled but I would think they would have ruled in my favour. I my case I think the seller got tired of dealing with me. Hopefully, everything works out for you Phil. Oh, and I sent your cards out today.

Its one thing to charge the $16 for the registered mail costs......but not to send it that way is robbery....especially if it is listed in the ebay listing that way. I hope you get some fundage back!

I actually had another one just a week ago - bought a 07-08 SPA Quick RC and the seller had free shipping. His listing did say that any card over $60 needed to pay registered shipping, but when you list a card for $200 OBO with free shipping, one would figure you've already accounted for the shipping. So after I accept his counter offer, he tells me I have to pay him $10 more or he won't ship it. So I pay it, so I can get my card, just waiting for it to arrive, so I can open a claim and get my money back. After reporting the seller to eBay for violating their free shipping terms, I open a case with PayPal and get my $10 back

eBay doesn't care because they can't/won't/don't monitor anything that goes on, until someone says something

got a response from the seller - basically apologizing up and down and offering to refund me $20. I told him I didn't need $20 - just the difference between what I paid and what he would normally charge for that type of shipping. No refund yet (in fairness, I sent the response 10mn ago), but in my opinion it's done. This guy was great in resolving this... the guy with the Quick RC, not so much

I could be wrong but I believe that I bought from this seller a few times and never had any issues. Granted it was for probably a total of $30 worth of cards, but just adding my two cents haha
