ETopps LAWRIE Rookie Card
Are ETopps cards considered true Rookie Cards?
I'm thinking specifically about the Brett Lawrie 2011 card, as this was the first card to carry the MLB RC logo.
I'm looking to pick this card up, but it doesn't even exist on the Beckett Price Guide. Does anyone have an idea of the price?
Thanks
Phil

RE: ETopps LAWRIE Rookie Card
Hopefully I can help a bit as I'm familiar with eTopps.
1) I would say most people would NOT consider an eTopps card to be a true rookie. HOWEVER, the line is so blurry these days on what is and what isn't someone's true rookie, that if you still want to pick up this card, then you should.
2) As far as pricing, if you go on eTopps website and look at their checklist you can see an "ebay price" which I think is some sort of average of recent sales.

Prices are not very high as eTopps has been shut down and was pretty much a niche thing to begin with
3) Beckett has not been very good at listing these and they don't have many of the autograph releases. And for the 2011 set, the Beckettt OPG has 33 cards listed and there are 45 total. Lawrie is one of the unlisted ones.
