I remember back in 06-07 it cost ONLY $24.99 for a one YEAR magazine subscription AND you got a coupon for 2 cards to be graded by BGS for FREE per sport subscription!!! I also got a FREE 2 year subscription to beckett football card plus as a bonus for renewing my subscription one time as well as another coupon for 2 cards to be graded by BGS for free. Now I pay $9.00 per month ($108 total per year) on a subscription that DOES give me access to a TON of cards but in all seriousness I dont need that much pricing. I feel Im paying WAY more than I should for the service that is provided. Is it nice to have the availability to find values on virtually any card? YES! However, do I really need access to it ehh probably not. And why not give me any coupons for free grading at all??? Or maybe a free magazine subscription included with my OPG subscription???

I miss "the hot list", the supercollector of the month, the informative articles each month about certain cards or players, the odds of pulling certain cards in a product ie 1:3,000 etc. My latest magazine issue was Beckett Football plus (only 6 issues a year at the time I believe) and inside it has the hobby power index from November 2008. It listed the top 15 players that you should be collecting at that time. While they were wrong on about half of them its still an interesting read and gives the collector some "insider" info. Its time to add these features to the OPG!!!

Would it really kill Beckett to give some free BGS grading coupons as well? $24.99 a year before with 2 BGS gradings for free THEN and $108 with squat added NOW. Seems a little crappy IMO.

I have had the yearly sub for all sports for the past like 4 years ( I think ).
They raised that and took away the free grading with a few of the mags a year. So you think YOU are over paying LOL.........
