I came across this nice evenly cut 1972 Topps Roger Staubach card with a blank back. What is the consensus? It is crisp and very clean cut.Is this a Proof card from the 1972 printing? What value does it hold? Thanks for any input!

RE: 1972 Topps Roger Staubach blank back cards....Are these original Proofs?
There is zero data in Beckett or anywhere alse about a blank back 72 Staubach. Since this is THE rookie card of an NFL legend and Hall of Famer if there was a legitimate variation or error I can't imagine they wouldn't have any data on it. My guess is that it is a counterfeit that someone made.
I collect Ray Lewis, Roger Staubach, Drew Pearson, Kellen Winslow Sr.. I no longer keep my Org here up to date. Please check with me. Here is a thread with links to my inventory.
