BGS autograph grading question
What are the criteria to grade a autograph at BGS?
2 examples from ebay:
This one is a 10:

And this one is a 9:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jordan-1...41655e2fed
I don't see the logic why one is a 10 and the other one is a 9!

RE: BGS autograph grading question
Reason y the second one recieved a 9 is because the auto ran off the side of the card

So the positioning of the autograph is a criteria rather than than the signature itself?

Not exactly position, but if it runs off the card, or sticker, they give it a lower grade. Also smears, obvious sloppiness... hope that helps!

RE: BGS autograph grading question
If the signature runs off the card it is considered an incomplete autograph, thus given the appropriate grade. Other things to consider when grading an autograph is whether or not it is faded, bubbling in the ink (mostly from super glossy card surfaces), and what htown said.
