With the 40+ rally squirrel auctions on Ebay, its hard to believe people advertise it as rare. But even harder to believe people buy it. This shows collectors will pay big money for any kind of novelty card that's short printed. Didn't one of the NFL half time shows have a monkey riding a dog? Maybe that could be a short print.
Collecting 2010 Bowman, 80s oddball rookies, and '89 Griffeys.

I sold my squirrel on Ebay and the buyer messaged me. He said he was not even a collector, he was a news guy and this was his first baseball card ever. He paid $175.

Wow. It makes sense that he wasn't a collector. I guess the thrill of being one of the first to own a card is worth the extra money to some.
