Help- 1998 Pinnacle Mint Collection
Hey-
I traded recently for a 1998 Frank Thomas Pinnacle Mint Collection card. Had no idea what it was. It comes to me with a large hole in it. Looking on the internet, it would appear that there is some sort of special coin that its in the hole. Where do I find these coins at, and what can you tell me about this odd series?

Card should have had the coin in it as far as i know.

There are a couple on ebay, second one is just a coin from 98.

the base cards from 98 pinnacle mint do not have the coins in them. There are 3 other versions of the base: bronze, silver, and gold that have the coins on the card. If I had a scanner right now I could show you the different versions, unfortunately I am at work right now, ugh.

I got the coin for trade.... pretty sure I also have the bronze version of the card marked for trade. I built the base set, the coins & the bronze set back in the day.

The cards did not come with the coin. These was one(retail) or two(hobby) coins in every pack but they did not always match the cards you got in the pack.
Sorry just looked. I have the 1997 for trade.
