Too many kids dont have a dad or good male figure around to show em the ropes, me included growing up. Wish it could of been different but hey i know what i know and love my kids to death because of it so in the long run it taught me some stuff the hard way. Your doing a great thing and hopefully his mom will hang around and you can be there for the kiddo.
