Wouldn't it be cool if Beckett and/or Topps developed an App that would allow you to scan your cards with your smartphone and then allow you view them in a carousel fashion (like albums on iTunes). Topps could make this easier if they added one of those QR codes (or a regular bar code along the bottom of a card). Even without the bar code or photo recognition or whatever, it would be cool if there was an app that you could just take a picture of a card and then enter the card info (brand, year, card number, SN, whatever). Instead of entering all of this info manually, the app could assist with scroll selection.

Anyway it seems like there's plenty of room for innovation in this respect.

I like the idea of a small QR code on the back of the card somewhere. Would be very handy.
