Actually, it is illegal. You are using official NFL logos on your item. Just ask all of the poor vendors down here with Saints stuff leading up to the Super Bowl. You could make these all day long, as long as you didn't sell them. It's an UNLICENSED PRODUCT. Didn't the government shut down a number of domain names and websites selling fake NFL jerseys?
I used to do airbrushing for a living. One of the big no-nos when we moved to Orlando was NO DISNEY CHARACTERS WHATSOEVER. You couldn't even paint a Mickey Mouse in different colors. Even though an airbrushed tshirt was considered artwork, Disney had the right to come down with a cease and assist letter and shut you down. They did it to a few unlucky vendors while I was there.
