So I had to go to Walmart earlier today for some school supplies and some other stuff and figured I would grab a blaster of the Topps Chrome since I have been seeing everyone else do so well with them....

I also grabbed a rack pack because why not right?

The blasters were layed out in 2 rows. I grabbed the one on the right and the one on the left fell off the shelf. Thinking this might be a sign I replaced the box on the right and took the one that fell off the shelf...

I forget what cards came from the blaster and from the rack pack but here is the run down....

Base RCs of Ponder and Newton
Refractors - Michael Turner, Aaron Rodgers, Tandon Doss, Dwayne Harris
Orange Refractors of Wes Welker, Matt Schaub, and Da"Quan Bowers
Xfractors - Kenny Britt, Anthony Allen, Allen Bradford, and Alex Green
Finest Freshman - Kaepernick , Pettis
Rookie Recognition - Jernell Jernigan

And the following 4 all came from the blaster that fell of the shelf...

Oh yeah and a Titus Young on card base RC auto.


I think I more than beat the odds on my blaster. Purple ref are 1/13 packs black are 1/32 blue are 1/47 and group B autographs are 1 in 570 packs.

In a few weeks I have some money coming in and there better be a ton of these at the local Wal-Mart, Target, and ShopKo locations. It is a good thing there are two of each within reasonable driving distance.

What are the requirments to becoming a chrommie? I think I am coming down with some of the symptoms. Great value out of my Hobby box and blaster box. I am hooked.

I didn't get any colored refractors out of my box - did get 3 xfractors, 2 were rookies. JJ Watt, and Shane Vereen, and the other was Jamaal charles. Did get a die cut Superlatives Gregg Little - which i thought was the coolest card of the box as i like die cut chromes.

I seem to be in the minority of people that never pull autos or much of anything good out of Chrome of any sport/year. I guess I need to move.....
