Why do some of the cards have silver borders and some white borders?
Collecting Bob Feller, 1951 Bowman, anything Cleveland.

The silver borders should be the refractors - hold the to a light and reflect the glare to yourself - the refractors' glare will be rainbow and the regular (white border) will just be a reflection of the light.
