Some more came in the mail yesterday. I really like finding the Minor League cards.

Last two days have brought me presents! Finally got a lot of Guillens in...which is great. I would like to hit 600 before 2012.

Here some of the random low end GUs that I needed.


This one is a cool group of cards. The A&G is the no-number back whihc completes my 2010 Guillen set except the 1/1s. The upper right card is a Japanese version of Topps Attax or MLB Showdown. The back of the card is all in Japanese. Pretty cool.


Some more parallels I needed. The Upper Deck parallels from 1999-2002 are becoming hard to find so I am glad I could scoop the top 2 cards.


And the last Guillen is a gem. The #/25 UD MVP Super Script. I have all three now (silver, gold, super)...very happy about this one.

The bat was a surprise...pretty much just put a $20 bid on it for giggles. One more bat and I'll have to get another rack. Which would be fine with me!

I'm not sure they will go after another starter this winter. Penny's gone but with the other four that's a good start and I think they would try one of the young guys out for the fifth spot. We really could use another bat or two. 2B and 3B being the big issue and maybe a backup catcher to spell Avila more than Martinez could. Unless they let Kelly catch more. I swear that guy can do just about anything. I would like to see them get rid of Raburn also. His spotty batting doesn't make up for the errors he makes on the field.
