Yeah I'm fed up with shill bidding as well. Sometime I hate this hobby and feel like leaving it for good... But that would be letting the crooks win! Of course, as with all things that bring profit, sports cards will have it's share of shady individuals but we have to stay 3 steps ahead and EDUCATE ourselves on this topic. Learn BV/SV, investigate completed auctions through feedback, and most of all don't bid on something that seems fishy to begin with! This could include, but is not limited to, poor scans, bad description, or "no return policies"... These are all Red Flags to me!

I agree with ya samiamryan, if you want a price start the auction at that price. Or better yet do a BIN with a chance at Make an Offer if you're willing to take less. It's a shame when you have crooks like that taking advantage of people.
