The lettermen cards issued under the UD Black, they are part of the base set? or is there a whole lettermen series set?
Also, Do the letters spell out their entire last name? or do they only issue x number of letters. Example, if howe was part of the UD Black lettermen series, would they have every letter H O W E or would they just issue like an H or W?

I guess really if anybody knows anything about this whole lettermen thing, it'd be greatly thanked if you shared with me

They have each letter. Usually they try to distribute them evenly, but sometimes there are more of one letter than the others.

The letterman cards are part of the base set. They are basically the Rookie cards for Black.

yeah and you can put together a players whole "nameplate" and spell out their entire last name
