2011 Topps Series 1 VS Series 2

2011 Topps Series 1 VS Series 2
Hey!

Have a question: Why is it that 2011 Topps Series 1 Jumbo Box almost doubles the price of a 2011 Topps Series 2 Jumbo Box?

Reference (DACARDWORLD.COM):
2011 Topps Series 1 Jumbo Box: $159
2011 Topps Series 2 Jumbo Box: $89

Thanks!

Happens each and every yr to both jumbo and hobby.

Ser one (2012) takes pre order now yet doesn't come out till next yr. Ser 2 (2011) is currently languishing on dealers shelves (like usual) because dealers over ordered it because they saw what happened to the first series.

And not to mention thath there are more and better inserts in series 1. I bought one box of series 2 and pulled the whole set minus 8 cards and ZERO duplicaes. I was pumped but I didnt get any great inserts.

Could one reason be that the Champion relics and autos are in series one? I know that wouldn't be the only reason but it could be one reason

Wow, I got my jumbo box of Series 1 in February for way less than that! My best hit was a Chris Tillman auto however...

1: Thats WAY expensive compared to my lcs
2: More demand for s1 because of the inserts and the autos and such.
Looking to complete the 2013 Archives Mets fan favorite Au's (Just need Ron Darling) and 2014 Topps Gypsy Queen set mini base + SPs. Also working on 2015 Topps Chrome and updates. Please note that if you have less than 15 trades, I ask that you send first.
