I recently read an article about rare coins so I decided to go through my coin jar of about 3 years. after searching it I found a bunch of half dollars and was wondering if they still had silver in them and also found several wheat pennies and a 1965 nickel that looks a bit off.

If anyone could help me with some quick facts about coins to look for that would be very appreciated!
