I have posted in this thread before but thought I'd add a newer pic.

I finally made it to an MLB game at Busch Stadium in STL. I was born, raised and still live in NC. I finally got the chance to make the 13-hour drive to St. Louis (a single round-trip plane ticket costs way more than the cost of driving there). I got to make the trip with most of my immediate family last August and to top it off, the Cardinals won the game in 14 innings. It made MLB Network's Top 10 games of the year list too. It was #8. The rest of my family left after the 13th inning, but there was no way I was leaving until the game was over. It ended at 12:05 am Central time (started at 7:10pm). It was the greatest and most enjoyable sporting event experience of my life. I will never forget it and hope I get to go back to STL sometime soon. Also, this picture was taken by a member of the Cardinals staff for the online fanpage and it was before I bought my brand new fitted STL hat at the team store. |
