Hey dude, was the specialist wrong about your never walking again? I think this is amazing! You proved them wrong, eh?
Wow, I love inspirational stories..

I went from being a major league prospect to not able to walk. That is heart breaking. I should be released on the 1st still. So I will get all pending trades out then

Well I just saw this and want to say keep your head up. I too have had a few little missteps. I was injured my last play of HS football and lost out on 2 scholarships and a chance with the then CA Angels( did I say I am getting old!) I then had a nice career of being a police officer and working for NASA. I was then involved in a really bad motorcycle where I almost lost my right leg from the knee down. I ended up with damage to the peroneal nerve which has left my leg with paralysis from the knee down. I too was told I would have to always were a brace and this and that. Well the brace broke 15 years ago and I walk without it. I used to be able to get along a lot faster but kids and my age have slowed me down but with the power of the mind and for me having faith in God's plan and not mine I am able to be happy and get along. I have so many Blessing from my accident that I am not sure how my life would be without it. I don't wish anything on anyone but just that sometimes we do not know why at the time but will see the answer later.
Sorry for the long read but I wish everything fir you and God Bless and Keep you.

I'm not sure what happened, but it really makes no difference. I'm sorry for whatever it was that caused your pain and loss. I will ask in my prayers that the Lord can help you remain strong , positive and that you heal completely and quickly. Thank you for being such an inspiration. Your words put my life in perspective......

i agree! as you know your mind can take you well past what your body lets it... keep your head up brother.
