i am getting ready to list a couple of items on ebay and i have a couple of questions.

1. when is the best day to start the auction
(sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday)

2. what is the best day to end an auction
(sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday)

3. what is the best duration for a auction to run at.

im guessing you would want to have it end on a sunday at approximately 8 pm for the west coast.

what he said. doesnt matter when you start but end on sunday around eight. i agree.

I always run my auctions either Sunday-Sunday or Tuesday-Sunday and will have them start at 6PM PST, which is 9PM EST, usually because most of the stuff I sell is more popular on the East coast. If you selling something for the West Coast I would start it at 730-830PST as you still want people on the east to see it.

thanks everyone for all of the help, so it should be a 5 or 7 day auction and end on a sunday after 4:00 pm.
