Awesome! Congrats on selling it for so much.
Personally, I would save some of the money and wait to see how 2011 Triple Threads looks.

Atlanta Sportscards has the Series 2 Jumbo cases on sale right now for $510, great price. Hopefully you get paid before they go off sale.
That's where I ordered mine from.

I would buy a case of 2011 Allen and Ginter with the money.

Nice card, and congrats on the fine pull! Now sell it quickly before Allen & Ginter comes out and everyone loses interest in Topps Series 2!
*Please note that in all of my future trades, I will require extra time to ship. I have no adequate transportation to a post office. If you don't want to wait, please do not trade with me.*

I was thinking $700 would be the top end of what I would get so I am VERY happy with the $1000. The buyer paid quickly too. I do feel a twinge of guilt for selling it but I love busting packs so I will be buying a few Series 2 jumbos and a few hobby boxes of Heritage as a treat for myself. The rest goes into the bank.

yeah I thought my guess of 5-700 would have been pretty spot on with that one... $1000 is pretty awesome!
sounds like a good time, enjoy busting the other wax! I know I'd be treating myself to something nice also
