I have almost completed the 2000 Vanguard High Voltage base set-thanks to Jsonnentag. He sent me almost every one that that I need (missing #2 still), and Now I have extras! I am still going for the red, gold and possibly the green...I love these awesome-looking cards..

Those are sweet cards. I have the Bettis from that set, (Ithink I may have received i from you.) I really like the look of the base cards from the 2000 Vangaurd set as well. Do you know if they did thick and thin (hobby and retail) cards because my base are thick and the Bettis High Voltage is paper thin.

The base Vanguard cards are thick. They were in '01 as well, and very cool. They come in different colors too. I think they were a pretty awesome set for just base cards, and some of their insert sets (like the H.V.) are very cool.
