Joe Montana Rookie card condition/possible grade opinions wanted
Hey guys I am looking for a bit of help here. I'm looking at this montana rookie but since the scans arent necessarily up close I cant decide if its worth it. Centering looks great but concern is corners, surface and edges. From these 2 pictures I was hoping i could get some fellow collectors opinions on this and if it would be a good deal.
I can get this for around $90, good deal? or not?

not worth it, you can get a bgs 8 on auction for that or less, which I think would be a higher grade then that one would get, try comparing it with pics of graded montana rcs maybe that'll help w/ the grade at least as far as corners and centering are concerned, but in my opinion it's not worth getting a raw one. I think anyone w/ a montana rookie that looked high grade would just get it graded before selling it raw.

I agree. I just picked up a raw one that looks a little better on corners and edges for $60
