yeah you're right it goes the other way too, the sellers don't wanna be mixed up in the trade threads either. It would just be alot easier this way i don't understand why they don't do it

I am currently selling and agree its anoying for the seller as well. If we had our own forum at least we know the viewers are those interested in buying, not just trading. Its a 2-way street. The reason you see so many sale threads is because its currently free. Once it goes away the threads will be less for sure. Just ignore any thread with FS in it if this bothers you, that would be my suggestion.

I think they should do away with the whole board. Isn't that the point of the trade function? You can search for the cards others have that you want and the whole trade can be done via the organize/trade system and there is no need for threads. For now, until the sell function is up and running, sell threads should be the ONLY ones here. If you want to trade, just use the system that is set up for it. If it isn't in your organize, the rules don't allow you to trade it here anyway, so what is the need for threads?

yeah but it's alot better to be able to see scans and talk about it and all that .

I wouldn't trade if I couldn't see the card before hand. NO WAY NO HOW.

The funny part of all this is...if you read the TOS, it says 'sale' threads are forbidden on the trade forums.

I asked Beckett about this, and their response was that for now, allow them, and they will think about how they want to handle FS threads in the future. We have suggested to them creating sale forums.

I agree it is nice to see the condition of the card that you may be interested in. It does not help when you have one person post a dozen or so seperate sale threads and bump down everybody elses trade threads, IMO.

They actually need to change the board parameters...10 scans/pics in one thread is the limit per person? Not cool...
