The official Kenny Britt diminishing values thread

RE: The official Kenny Britt diminishing values thread
I'm a Titans fan here in Nashville. I think Britt will be ok. His legal troubles are relatively minor compared to others. If he gets his head on right and we get a QB then I feel he will be a force. On a different note, why can't CJ get some love for his cards? I know his Exquisite and SP Authentic are valued well, but the rest you can pick up for very little. I know the Titans haven't done well but for CJ to have a 1300+ yard season and people say he had a down year, that should say something about his abilities. I guess until the Titans start winning more, his cards will be overlooked.

I disagree on Britt. He's had a string of problems. I hope he gets his act together, but he's given me no reason to think he will.

As far as Johnson's card values go... I think his lame sig is certainly a factor, as well as playing for the small market Titans. He was never hyped coming out of college (like AD), so he doesn't have the instant name cache' that Peterson and Regis Bush had. Not being from a big school also loses him a few collectors... collecting guys from programs like the Longhorns or the Trojans can be pricey as they have such huge and rabid fan bases. The same can't be said for the East Carolina Pirates.

I'm not sure who's less intelligent, Britt, or me for continuing to try to be a fan of these entitled jerks.
