1952 Topps sizing
I picked up shoebox full of old '50s cards a couple weeks ago. While sorting I found a good batch of '52 Topps. I noticed that some were narrower than others, with the "Topps Baseball" on the back cut completely or partially off.
Was that normal for that year or did some dumb kid cut the cards to make them fit in something? If it was cut post-factory someone did a heck of a job, because they are straight and even.
Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to say, sounds like they were trimmed.

Interested in EX-MT or better pre-'56 Cardinals, '53 Bowman Color & '74-'78 Topps.

RE: 1952 Topps sizing
I am betting the kid or a kid who grown to be an adult by now used a pepper cutter to trim the cards. that is why the trimming looks straight.( when I was growing up every school room exspeciallly in art had a papper cutter) Or could you have the 1983 52 reprints? I might be mistaken but I think the 83 are of standard size. So you might have some real 52s mixed in with 83s
