GOLIGOSKI TRADED TO DALLAS
It just came across the wire....Alex Goligoski was traded to Dallas for James Neal and Niskanen....UNBELIEVABLE!!! I thought for sure Goligoski wasnt even an option for being traded......I trust Ray Shero, but this was a defininite Surprise!!!

THOUGHTS?

RE: GOLIGOSKI TRADED TO DALLAS
That's terrible but I guess with all the Pens injury problems they needed to move someone to get a scoring punch.

Sad

Hope it works out for the Pens. Wish they wouldn't have traded him. Best of luck in Dallas Gogo

Currently collecting Crosby, Goligoski, Lemieux and any other current Penguins.

My initial reaction is that it seems like a great deal for Pittsburg. I think that Dallas has overpayed a bit.

RE: GOLIGOSKI TRADED TO DALLAS
I was reading about this on NHL.com just before the trigger got pulled. It seemed like a deal that both teams would benefit from. Seeing that Letang has come right out of nowhere to be the Penguins' top D-Man, I think that they were justified in making this deal. Losing Crosby and Malkin this late in the season, plus having Staal sidelined for as long as he was, the Pen's needed a scoring touch. Though, it does hurt when your team loses a definite fan-favorite and great player. Hopefully it will work out.
My two cents.

Yeah... I knew that you, Walt and Carl would not be happy about this one. I know how it feels (Halak) to lose one of the cornerstones (Halak) of the team that you are cheering for (Halak)! Haha!
