Plain White Envelopes
I only use bubble mailers with a DC#. If the card is over $75 I ship with insurance too. I think it helps cover your butt when you are trading on here.

If the card involves any sort of thickness that's a problem... Told otherwise by whom? It's not a site rule to use bubbles, it's just courteous/respectful, especially with the higher value stuff (jerseys, autos, etc.) Our trade with PWE was just fine with me and if anyone has a problem with what we did they need to speak with me as well. I'm new to the whole online trading deal, and I'd rather not have my ratings go down due to bad shipping, so I try my best in this arena. What's DC? To the OP... you can get postage through PayPal, which includes DC for just $0.19 more. Saves a trip to the post office (you print the postage at your home), and DC is way cheaper. PWEs show how much you care about your trading partner's cards. Frankly, I couldn't care less if it was a nickel common... if I'm sending it, it goes in a bubble envelope with DC. I don't want someone to rip me off. You are looking for trouble using a PWE, either from damaged cards or from some dishonest person who says they never received your cards. DC is for YOUR protection anyway, not your partner's. The bubble envelope is for THEIR protection.

Thanks. I do use penny sleeves, hard sleeves sealed with tape, and bubble mailers, but is it necessary to get DC for anything under, say, $50?
EDIT: Missed that last one by 7 seconds. Will take that into account, All Day Baby, especially if DC is so cheap on PayPal. Thanks again. I used to not do it because it was 80 cents at the Postal office. But since I got a digital scale, I just print off the printing slip off at home and the DC from paypal is only 19 cents... gives me a better piece of mind |

Say you make a trade involving your $30 card, but since it's under $50, you decide not to use DC. Your trading partner claims he never got it, but you don't believe him. What can you do to prove he got it? Nothing... you opted to send without DC. I keep saying this over and over again... DC through PayPal is only 19 cents! Use it on every trade and your rear is covered. Use a bubble envelope to show consideration for the other trader. ![]() You are already missed |
